Korea is still very conservative, and the import of Western religious beliefs hasn’t at all helped this. Homophobia is common, and hearing it from a Korean one should understand it’s a belief many are brought up with. You don’t have to agree with it, and you can question it, but you can’t necessarily change it.
SMTOWN have just updated their SMTOWN NOW app for iOS and Android, and although its been around for a fair few months it seems SMTOWN are now actively promoting the app to fans.
Super Junior have returned MAMACITA (AYAYA). Over two years have passed since Sexy, Free and Single, coincidentally this means the group has never released an album without leader Leeteuk.
The Mandarin subunit of one of SMTown’s Super Junior, Super Junior M, have released their third mini album, Swing. Swing is an upbeat and addictive pop song, as many of SJM’s lead songs are.

Today, August 16th, marks PHANTOM’s debut anniversary. A whole year since the hybrid hip hop unit officially hit the korean music market (which I’ll mention more about further into my blog) but just shy of their anniversary the group presented fans with I Already Know.
Super Junior M member Henry Lau has launched a Korean solo career as simply Henry with the successful album Trap and it’s title track of the same name.
